as a leaf fan i love this deal. Mac was always in my hypothetical Lu trades. i would rather have raymond coming back over many though. give frattin a chance on the second line with Kadri and Van reimsdyke. we have steckle/mcClemmet/Lombardi/Connolly dont need any more centres coming our way. plus a third line of Ray/McClemmet/kulimin would be solid 2 way line that could contribute offensively if they both get their touch back.

If that's the best you can offer then I'd rather keep him and have him as a back up. None of that does anything for the Canucks. No point. Wait till the offseason when teams are doing buyouts and trade him then.

Luongo is so bad for the Leafs, they shouldn't even take him if he was free.

Stick to the yotes, no offence maybe just my opinion but leafs don't move MacArthur because they're already short on depth, plus you're missing steckel and Connolly at the center rotation

That was the Canucks rotation. Unless you want Steckle on the second line. I have no faith in Connolly in the 2 role and marginal in the 3.

Leafs need to walk away laughing. I'd let Luongo rot there and I like seeing Gillis sweat profusely in every interview. Gillis loves overrating his players, so keep sweating bud. Have fun working with 9 million for goaltenders. Your not fooling anyone with your asking prices.
